Area International and Humorous Speeches will take place in February, and Division contests will run in March.  Please watch the calendar for newly scheduled events!

Clubs are encouraged to determine contestants for both contests and send their list of possible representatives (including first, second and third place options when possible) to their Area or Division Director before January 31.  Check your available Pathways projects to make sure you can receive credit whenever you deliver your speech.

All dues paying members of clubs in good standing are eligible for the Humorous contest, and all are also eligible for many of the volunteer roles to make these fair and fun events for all: Contest Toastmaster, ballot counters, timers, occasionally additional logistics roles as well.  Completion of a Pathways Level 2 or, for long-time Toastmasters a previous communication award, is required for the International Speech Contest, Chief Judging or an anonymous Judge role. Watch the calendar or check with your Area or Division Director to volunteer!

District 212: Preparing for July

We are officially in the planning stages for the creation of our new District 212, and over the next several months you’ll see increasing communication, updates, and opportunities to get involved.

District 212 will bring together members from four legacy districts—19, 30, 35, and 54—to form a stronger, more collaborative, and better-supported district. The Transition Team is now being assembled, and their work will help ensure we enter the 2026–2027 program year fully prepared with consistent processes, effective systems, and a united culture.

Stay Informed

Updates, announcements, and resources will be posted regularly on the District 212 website.

Easier club publicity

Has your club ever considered handing out club business cards?  Not individual personal cards, but a card that lists date/time and location of your meetings and maybe some contact information — your web site or an email address?  Check out these templates from Toastmasters International — now consider USING them!

Our latest incentive to help clubs publicize their meetings is reimburse up to $20 toward business cards for your club! Submit it through Concur, ideally with a photo of the card as well as the receipt, and then get ready to bring in more guests even more easily!
