Keith Cumiskey, DTM
I’ve been a Toastmaster since 1996. I served in every club officer position, area governor, division governor, Club Growth Director, Program Quality Director and now District Director. I joined to improve my public speaking skills and it’s become so much more … listening, leadership, mentoring, networking, teamwork, friendships … and lots of fun.
Ed Thelen, DTM
Program Quality Director
I joined Toastmasters in January 1999 at the urging of my first supervisor. With encouragement, I served in most of the club officer roles and then was asked to serve as an Area Governor. Success in this role allowed me to also serve as District Treasurer, Division Governor, Administration Manager, Club Growth Director and now as the Program Quality Director.
I stay in Toastmasters because there is continuous learning and improvement of communication and leadership skills in giving speeches, receiving feedback from others and working with others in leadership roles. Toastmasters is the one thing I can say has truly changed my life!
Janci Rozaline, DTM

Vice President and QA Manager at US Bank. She loves to travel. Her favorite pastime is reading, cooking and spending time with the family. She also loves running and practices Yoga and meditation daily.

I have been a Toastmaster since September of 2015. I am a lifelong learner, always looking for new ways to grow as an individual and a leader which is what brought me to Toastmasters. I am a charter member of NM Speaks!, the corporate club at the Milwaukee campus of Northwestern Mutual. For 2017-18 I am the District 35 Finance Manager and the Club President of NM Speaks!
Jackie Breezer, ACS CL
Public Relations Manager
I joined Toastmasters in 2007 looking for ways to improve my public speaking skills. My experience in Toastmasters brought many lessons – I learned to organize my thoughts to prepare well planned speeches, the power to overcome fear and be confident under pressure, and improved my ability to “think on my feet” when impromptu speaking is required. The leadership and communication skills I have gained from TM has fueled the progression of my professional career and most importantly – helped me to be a better leader.
I am excited for the opportunity to serve as the District 35 Public Relations Manager for 2017-2018.
Cindy Laatsch, DTM
Immediate Past District Director
I walked into my first Toastmasters meeting in Fall of 2009 – I was looking for a place to connect with others who were interested in developing speaking skills. I understood that Toastmasters was a safe place to learn and develop – but I had no idea how positive and welcoming the experience would be.
The best surprise? Toastmasters not only offers a great Communication Track, but also an amazing Leadership Development track.
Serving as the Program Quality Director this Toastmasters year is an honor, and allows me to connect with and be inspired by incredible Toastmasters.
Toastmasters: An opportunity waiting for you!
David Reed, DTM
Thank you for electing me to serve as Division A Director. As a servant leader, I am super excited to serve all of the Toastmasters in Division A and in District 35. My journey began in 2009 with Oak Brook Speakers in District 30 where I was a VPPR twice. Then I moved to Wisconsin in January 2012 for work (Supply Management Eng with John Deere) and started with Menomonee Falls Toastmasters. I was the PRO for District 35 (’12-’13) and held several officer roles at the club level. In my spare time, I play trombone around Washington County, travel overseas annually to serve orphans, speak Spanish where I can, and sing in my church choir.

Since starting my marketing business in August of 2014, Creative Connections of the Fox Valley, communication and leadership skills continue to be a driving force in my career. I also enjoy introducing the skills Toastmasters provides to the candidates I work with at Right Management where I have a part-time role as a Career Management Consultant. Several of these candidates have even joined clubs in the E-2 area!
I enjoyed taking on new challenges as the Area Director for E-2 in the 2016-17 TM year and I’m excited to serve the Eastern Division as its Division Director this year!

I joined Toastmasters in 2010 after a Speechcraft class and three months later became VP Education. Toastmasters has given me the confidence to overcome the obstacles in my path – it was hard but wonderfully gratifying. I am becoming the person I was meant to be.

I have been a Toastmaster since 2014. I started my journey in WA state, at the (then) freshly chartered, Salmon Speakers. After moving to WI, I enjoyed visiting a number of clubs and experiencing Toastmasters in a very different region. Through my years as a Toastmaster, I have served as President, Sergeant at Arms, and Secretary. I am looking forward to serving as the Area F3 Director for the 2017-2018 year.

I have been a Toastmaster for 13 years. My father was a Toastmaster, leading to my interest. I have held all 7 club officer positions, area governor, division governor, district treasurer (twice), and am a 2 time DTM. My goal was to become better at public speaking and Toastmasters did a great job! It also improved my leadership skills in ways I have never imagined.
I am looking forward to serving as your Area F-1 Area Director for the 2017-2018 Toastmasters year. Reach for the Stars!
I’m a charter member of Rumble Don’t Mumble; one of the corporate clubs at Harley-Davidson.
